1. Connect LaunchBox and PC or Mobile (IOS) devices to the
same Ethernet router using Ethernet cables.
2. From the Settings Menu, change the “Ethernet Mode” to
“Dynamic”.
3. Wait 10 seconds for LaunchBox to adopt the change.
Note: This method isn't recommended but in some situation may be needed. Customer should be notified that setting static connection on the NIC (Network Interface Card, I.E. Ethernet adapter) will alter how the PC can connect to internet. Meaning they may need a second NIC installed on the PC that has no static IP set on it, that is wired to their router, or use Wi-Fi to connect to internet instead. On IOS device they would use Wi-Fi to be connected to internet at the same time using static on the NIC.

“Static”.
3. Depending on which device PC or Mobile device you will need to go in and manually set your IP setting for the ethernet Connection.

4. Wait 10 seconds for LaunchBox to adopt the change.
IOS Devices
Note: for IOS devices you may need a USB to ethernet dongle as shown below:
- On your apple device go to Settings>Ethernet
- Change the IPv4 address from Automatic to Manual
- And assign the IP address 192.168.2.xxx (But do not use 50)
Note: If you have more than one Launchbox in a location, be sure to use a unique IP for each device - Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- Router: 192.168.2.1
PC Devices (Windows 10/11)
- Go into network settings on your PC Either through the Control Panel >Change the view to Large Icons > Network & Sharing Center
- or Right click on your start button from the Task Bar and go to Setting > Network & internet and Edit IP assignment or Edit DNS Server assignment IPv4 DNS
- Assign an IP to IPv4: 192.168.2.xxx (But do not use 50)
Note: If you have more than one Launchbox in a location, be sure to use a unique IP for each device
- Subnet: 255.255.255.0
- Gateway: 192.168.2.1
- Manually enter the DNS
- 8.8.8.8 (unencrypted) (google DNS)
- DNS over HTTPS > OFF
- 8.8.4.4 (unencrypted) (Google DNS)
- DNS over HTTPS > ON (automatic Template)
- Fallback to plain text > OFF (if option exists--ignore otherwise)
Note: In the examples below the IP address used was: 192.168.2.71
