The Garmin App is called “Garmin Golf”
Available on PC and iOS
• You must have an account to use the App
• You must use the app to interface with E6 CONNECT
You can Select “Devices” in the Garmin App to Pair the device
• Bluetooth connection
• Hold down the Approach R10’s button until solid BLUE for paring
• Device appears as Approach R10
o Battery Power can be seen here too
• You do NOT need to pair the device in Android/PC Settings….can be done withing Gamin App
E6 CONNECT is found under “Golf SIM” in the Garmin app
• User selects TruGolf E6 CONNECT
• User is offered options for play: “Play on iOS” or “Play on PC”
(note: Android may only offer PC option)
• The user is then instructed on HOW to setup and play E6 CONNECT
o If this is iOS…it expects the user to be playing on the same device they are using to connect, there are no other options.
So it’s pretty seamless.
o For PC
The user will be asked for the “HOST” – This is the Computer IP Address
The user will be ask what PORT to use, the default is 2483 (unless otherwise configured differently inside E6 CONNECT)
User will have the option to “Test Connection”
NOTE:
If in the game, the users is told to “Wake the Device Up”
Or, if the white light is blinking
• The device has gone into Standby Mode
• Press the button on the back of the device once.
This will wake up the device, and play should begin normally.
Device Indicator Light (front of Device, facing Screen)
Solid blue: The device is in pairing mode.
Flashing blue: The device is reconnecting to the previously connected smartphone.
Solid white: The device is in mass storage mode.
Flashing white: The device is in standby mode.
Flashing green: The device is ready for a shot.
Solid red: The device is busy.
Flashing purple: A software update is in progress.
