Garmin R50 Connection Instructions

Connecting your device to E6 Software

  1. On the front of the Garmin R50 device, after signing into your Garmin account, scroll over to the farthest tile to the right (touch screen). click partner software and select E6 CONNECT or E6 Golf 2026.
  2. This causes the device to create a wireless hotspot beginning with the name ApproachR50.
  3. Open the system settings of the OS you are using where you can select a new wireless network. choose the newly created ApproachR50 Hotspot.
  4. Once connected to the ApproachR50 Hotspot, launch E6 CONNECT or E6 Golf 2026 and proceed to the Tracking System Menu and select Garmin R50.
  5. If this is the first time that you have connected you may be prompted to install Bonjour.
  6. After the Bonjour installation, the device should auto connect.
