Static build up – This can cause the processor to lock up or cause interference with the optical sensors not allowing the shot data to be sent or readable. Spraying the anti-static spray will help keep prevent the static build up from happening. Here is a link to managing static and directions on how to make and apply anti static spray https://trugolf.zohodesk.com/portal/en/kb/articles/trugolf-static-how-to-control-static-in-your-environment

Steep swings – A steep swing might not allow the back row of optical sensors to register the proper data needed from the club head shadow to register a shot. Moving the ball further back towards the back row of optical sensors may help with this issue.

Inside out or outside in swings – If the club head is to far inside or outside upon passing over the back row of optical sensors there might not be enough data being sent due to the back row only seeing partial club head shadow. Moving the ball to the opposite side of the club path might help with the club now passing over the center of the back row of optical sensors. Example- Is the swing is outside in you would want to place the ball closer to the golfer’s stance as seen in the picture. The opposite for inside out swing.

Fat shots – If a swing is impacting the sensor board to hard it may be causing too loud of a sound that will false trigger the acoustic sensors. It can also flex the sensor board to the point of moving the optical sensors. This will not allow a shot to read or beak the optical sensors.

Wedge Shots – If the ball is not hitting the screen it might not be generating a valid sound or enough sound for the microphones to pick up when outside of 100 yards to the pin( Ball on screen mode).

Echo – Echo in the room can also cause shots to misread or not register. If you have echo in your room it will interfere with your microphones that are gathering acoustic data when they are listening for the sound of the ball hitting the screen.

Loose processor chip
The processor chip on the board may have come loose. use the link below for information on how to check it.
