- Check the ball camera “ PointGrey” driver
1. Launch Point Grey
Both cameras should be seen like in the picture.
- Check the USB connections to the computer.
- Check the cabling from the computer to the ball camera(s)
IF only one camera is being seen you can try swapping the USB connection to verify if the camera or connection(s) is failing.
What if my Clubs don’t track in the configuration tool?
- There are clubs that at times will not be recognized by the Club Head Camera. This can be solved by placing one of the included reflective stickers on the top far edge of the club head/face. The types of clubs that we have found to be an issue are the flat grey or flat black clubs as the infrared light coming out of the club head camera will not reflect adequately off the flat finish.
How to adjust Ball Speed
- Ball speed is measured by taking the number of pixels that the ball travels in an allotted time by the club head camera. Adjust the “CTBallSpeedAdjust” number up or down from the default 1.0 value. 1.1 would be a 10% increase in ball speed, .9 would be a 10% decrease.
This setting can be found in the “Advanced settings” of the Truflight 2 utility.
What if I’m getting a zero-degree launch angle?
Believe to be caused by any of the following:
- Focusing Club Head camera
- Adjusting ball detection window
- Ball camera gain settings
- Ball camera threshold settings.
Items Known to Cause Issues reading balls
Baseball Caps
Tall Players (6' up?)--have them move the ball closer to feet. this will force the player backwards and get their head (presumably) out of the shot.
