Uneekor Connection Instructions for E6 CONNECT

Uneekor Connection Instructions for E6 CONNECT

Symptom:

  1. Needing to connect Uneekor device to E6 Connect
  2. Uneekor device not connected
Connecting your Uneekor to E6 Connect requires using the Uneekor Launcher as a background interface. Because the EYE MINI uses high-speed cameras to track data, the "Uneekor Launcher" handles the hardware communication while E6 Connect handles the simulation.

1. Establish Hardware Connection
  1. Connect via Ethernet:
Plug the included CAT6 Ethernet cable directly into your Uneekor and your computer's Ethernet port.

    • Note: Uneekor recommends a direct connection rather than using a network switch or router for the lowest latency.

  2. Power On: Turn on the Uneekor. Ensure the E-Ink display on the unit shows the "Ready" state.

2. Launch the Uneekor Interface
  1. Open Uneekor Launcher: On your PC, open the Uneekor Launcher app.

  2. Select Uneekor device: Ensure the Uneekor device is selected and showing as "Connected" in the Launcher.

  3. Start the Connector: You must open either the Uneekor VIEW software or the Third-party Connector (Pod) within the launcher.  This serves as the "bridge" that sends data to E6. Keep this window minimized in the background.

3. Configure E6 Connect
  1. Launch E6 Connect

  2. Navigate to Settings > Simulator.

  3. In the "Tracking System" dropdown, select Uneekor.

  4. Click Configure (or Accept).

  5. If the connection is successful, the status indicator in E6 will turn Green.

Critical Settings for Accuracy

To ensure your shots register correctly in the E6 environment, verify these alignment details from the manual:

  • Target Alignment: Do not align your Uneekor directly with your target. It must be placed parallel to your target line, roughly 1.5 to 2 feet to the side of the hitting zone.

  • Ready Zone: Ensure the ball is placed within the unit's "Ready Zone." The Uneekor logo on the front of the device will pulse Green when the ball is correctly positioned and the system is armed.

  • Leveling: Use the built-in leveler or the mounting bracket to ensure the unit is perfectly level with your hitting mat. Even a slight tilt can cause inaccurate spin axis data in E6.

Troubleshooting
  • No Data in E6: If the Uneekor is reading shots in the VIEW software but not in E6, ensure the Uneekor Launcher is still running. If you close the Launcher, the data stream to third-party apps is cut off.

  • Firewall Issues: If the status stays red, ensure that both UneekorLauncher.exe and E6Connect.exe are allowed through your Windows Firewall on Private networks.
