Issue: Needing to update Apogee firmware and/or Apogee Intelligent Dashboard.
This is two step process. You must first check which version is currently installed. Some older unit may be lower than .50 firmware. If so please follow Process 2.
NOTE:
- E6 CONNECT Contains improvements to usability with certain firmware updates. Please update E6 CONNECT to the latest version https://e6golf.com/update/e6-connect/
- You cannot update the APOGEE to .50 firmware with any version of AID version higher than 1.25 (It is recommended to use the 1.19 version see the steps below to download it). The AID version number can be seen in the lower right hand corner in AID version 2.13. If you do not see it on the Dashboard main page go into the support and look at the lower right hand corner to confirm AID version.
Process 1:Updating AID and Apogee Firmware above .50 and higher
To Update:
- Open the existing APOGEE Intelligent Dashboard (AID) and if a popup comes up for firewall permissions ensure all boxes are checked.
- Select TOOLS and Update the firmware to latest version.
- If you see the words “Current Version: LOADING” please call TruGolf’s Customer Experience Team and they will work with you to ensure your firmware updates correctly.
It may look like this:

- You can resolve this on your own by doing the following:
- Open the AID and note the Device Serial number (For Example G23-0112)
- Open File Explorer
- Enter \\SERIALNUMBER (For example \\G23-0112) and press ENTER
- When prompted enter “a” for username and “a” for password
- Return back to the AID to perform the Firmware update
- Download AID latest version (not 1.19)from https://trugolf.com/pages/support and install.
- NOTE: If a popup comes up for firewall permissions ensure all boxes are checked.
- Update APOGEE to firmware to the latest released build.
- If the Apogee is lower than .50 firmware use Process 2 below.
Process 2: Upgrading a unit with Firmware lower than .50
To Update:
- Open the existing APOGEE Intelligent Dashboard (AID) and if a popup comes up for firewall permissions ensure all boxes are checked.
- Select TOOLS and Update the firmware to .50
- If you see the words “Current Version: LOADING” please call TruGolf’s Customer Experience Team and they will work with you to ensure your firmware updates correctly.
It may look like this:

- You can resolve this on your own by doing the following:

- Download AID 0.0.19 from https://trugolf.com/pages/support and install.
- NOTE: If a popup comes up for firewall permissions ensure all boxes are checked.
- Update APOGEE to firmware .50
- Use the 1st process to update the Apogee and AID after the above steps are completed.
