How to Connect TruGolf Truflight 2 to E6 Golf 2026

Symptom:
  1. You have installed E6 Golf 2026 but when trying to select tracking system its showing as not connected.
  2. APOGEE and E6 Connect are connected and working as expected, but the APOGEE is showing as disconnected.

1. Driver and Utility Installation
Before opening E6, the TruFlight 2 cameras must be recognized by Windows.
  • Install Utilities: Ensure you have the TruFlight 2 Utilities & Drivers (version 1.3.0.1 or newer) installed. This package includes the drivers for the Imaging Source (TIS) or FLIR cameras used in the ball and club units.

  • Camera Check: Plug both the Ball Camera and the Overhead Club Camera into USB 3.0 ports (blue).

  • Run Config Utility: Open the TruFlight 2 Config Utility. If the cameras are working, you should see a live black-and-white feed. If the screen is black, ensure your overhead tracking light is turned on.

2. Configure Tracking in E6 Golf 2026
  1. Launch E6 Golf 2026.
  2. From the Main Lobby, select the E6 Icon (Global Menu) in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Tracking Systems.

  4. From the list, select TruFlight 2.

  5. Click Connect. The status should change to a green "Connected" indicator.

3. Critical Setup Steps
  • Admin Rights: Always right-click the E6 Golf 2026 icon and select "Run as Administrator." This is required for the software to access the high-speed camera data streams.

  • Configuration: Click the Configure button next to TruFlight 2 in the menu.

    • If you have a newer Single Ball Camera setup (purchased after 2021), ensure the "Single Camera" toggle is active.

    • Ensure your Sensor to Screen distance matches your physical room dimensions.

  • Lighting: TruFlight 2 is an optical system. If the "Club Camera" status is red, check that your overhead light is focused specifically on the hitting zone marked on your mat.

4. Troubleshooting common "No Shot" issues
  • The "TIS UVC" Error: If the Config Utility says "No Cameras Found," go to Windows Device Manager and look for Imaging Devices. If you see "TIS UVC Device" with a yellow triangle, you need to reinstall the drivers located in:
  • C:\Program Files\TruGolf\TruFlight 2 Utilities\TruFlight2ConfigUtility\IC_usbcam_...

  • Firewall: Ensure both E6.exe and the TruFlight2ConfigUtility.exe are allowed through your Windows Firewall.

  • Ball Placement: Ensure the ball is placed within the "Trigger Zone" (the area the cameras are focused on). If the ball is too far forward or back, the cameras will not trigger the recording sequence.
