Issue:
Customers may report or request needing Assistance Calibrating
*Note: AID calibration differs in order of operations. Auto Lighting features have been added to newer version of .85 and higher.
Resolution:
ACC is now legacy and can longer update units to current firmware builds.
Download and install AID (Apogee Intelligent Dashboard) from
https://trugolf.com/support/Remove/Uninstall the Old ACC (this should remove the ACC shortcut from Desktop).
Follow the wizard to complete the calibration.
Double click on the Apogee Shortcut Icon to launch AID
From the main Menu Select Calibration
Click Calibration.
Follow the onscreen instructions and put down the alignment grid. Click next when ready.
Once the Alignment has completed (green checks marks) click next.
*Note: Two different Template types, the older style with Circles with no gray and black squares, and one with Circles and Gray and black Squares.
Alignment will succeed with both types but if you see one with only box and expecting square laser a replacement will need to be sent out or purchased.
Lighting Adjustment for the Offset Camera (Ball Camera) once completed it will show green check marks, click next.
*Note: Customer may not have the newer template with square they can still calibrate with new firmware. AID will change the view to place the ball down instead.
Customer may be use to the old style and remove the grid before the auto gray scale feature completes. Please remind them to leave the template down until the onscreen instruction state otherwise.
If the auto Gray Scale fails check to make sure the Squares are not cut off by the edges of the window slightly adjust template and restart the Auto Grayscale as needed.
If the Gain is to low such as 5 or 10 and causing issue with ball flight repeat the calibration but manually adjust using the +- above the image. Try to set for 15-30 gain and test.
If you cannot get it to pass send logs using the Support features in AID and notify the Apogee Dev's.
When using the old style template with circles only, AID will know and you can remove the grid and place the ball down there is no laser during this segment. The customer will need to move towards the hitting screen and watch the Projection screen to see the ball come into view. Ideally place the ball and log so you can see the 3 bright spots reflection (from the IR) and adjust using the + -, until the ball indentation (divots) are bright and clear and the bright spots are not oversaturated and larger than the sample image to the left.
Remove the Grid as instructed and click Next.
Lighting Adjustment for the Center Camera (Clubhead Camera) once completed it will show green check marks, click next.
*Note: Lighting is automated but can be set manually using the + -. The min gain value may vary, but if you are seeing missing clubhead camera data the Min value is 70.
The End of the wizard will show a shot testing screen where you can place the ball down and make test shots.
- If properly calibrated data will show on the right hand side and always change after shot is taken.
- The Ready will show a green check mark when the ball is detected.
- Make sure to account left or right handed toggle at the bottom of screen.
- If it's consistently registering shots save and complete the process. (*note if its not registering a shot still test in E6 Connect)
- Exit out of AID and Test in E6Connect.
