How to use E6 CONNECT with the SC4
Connecting a Voice Caddie device (specifically the SC4) to E6 Connect allows you to transform your portable launch monitor into a full simulator.
While older models like the SC300i are great for data, only the SC4 is natively compatible as an E6 Connect tracking system.
1. Requirements & License Activation
2. Connecting on iOS (iPad/iPhone)
Power On: Turn on your SC4. The screen should show "OFFLINE" or "READY."
Open E6 Connect:
Launch the app on your iOS device.
Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings (gear icon) > Simulator.
Select Tracking System: Find Voice Caddie or Swing Caddie SC4 in the list.
Configure & Pair:
Click Configure.
The app will scan via Bluetooth. Select your device when it appears.
PIN Code: If prompted, enter the 6-digit PIN
displayed on the SC4 device screen.
Confirmation: Once connected, the SC4 screen will switch to display "SIM", and the status icon in E6 Connect will turn Green.
3. Connecting on PC
Bluetooth Check: Ensure your PC has Bluetooth enabled. If your PC doesn't have built-in Bluetooth, you will need a Bluetooth 4.0/5.0 USB dongle.
Do Not Pair in Windows: Like many simulator devices, you should not pair the SC4 in the Windows Bluetooth settings menu. The E6 Connect software handles the connection directly.
Launch E6 Connect: Follow the same steps as the iOS version: Settings > Simulator > Voice Caddie > Configure.
Select Device: Click your device name and enter the PIN shown on the SC4 screen.
4. Physical Setup for Accuracy
To ensure your shots register correctly in E6 Connect, follow these "Rule of Thumb" measurements:
Device Placement: Place the SC4 exactly 5 feet
directly behind the ball.
Leveling:
The unit must be level with the hitting surface.
If your mat is 2 inches high, raise the SC4 2 inches.
Ball Flight: You need a minimum of 8–10 feet of ball flight before it hits your net or screen for the radar to accurately calculate data.
Troubleshooting Tips
"No Device Found": Ensure the MySwingCaddie app is completely closed. If the Voice Caddie app is running in the background, it may "lock" the Bluetooth connection, preventing E6 Connect from finding it.
Disconnected Status: If the connection drops, check for interference from high-speed fans or fluorescent lights, which can disrupt radar signals.
Spin Data: If spin isn't showing up, ensure you are using high-quality golf balls and have at least 10 feet of ball flight.
