Handicaps and Scores Better in Simulation in E6 CONNECT
SYMPTOMS
- Your handicap is better in the game, than in real life.
- Your rounds score better in the game, than in real life.
Users will see some discrepancy between their real world handicap and the one provided in E6. This is due to the externalities that can’t be accounted for in indoor golf.
While we have introduced a number of simulated limitations (Randomized Spin and Power Reductions in hazards) historically users have performed better indoors.
Some of those Externalities Include:
- We align the shot for you automatically (Especially true with putting--See Note Below)
- Do you use player putts out?
- We give you the exact distance--there is no guesswork
- Even footing for all shots
- Course Distractions are not present
- A lot of Tracking Systems can be pretty forgiving of poor shots--more so than mother nature
- Hitting out of challenging terrain is much easier in the simulation
- If you completely miss a shot and it doesn’t register--That’s a penalty in real life. But not in the game.
Putting: Align Break
Putting on a Simulator can be hard--it’s harder to read a green you can’t fully explore.
So by default, we align the player to the hole and provide a putting line to help.
But that option also makes putting much easier.
This can be turned off/on in the Player Settings Menu:
