Foresight Connection Instructions for E6 CONNECT
Connecting a Foresight Sports device (GC2, GC3, GCQuad, GCHawk, or Bushnell Launch Pro) to E6 Connect
is unique because it requires a specific "Launcher" utility to bridge the data between the Foresight hardware and the E6 software.
1. Requirements & Licensing
The Integration License: To use Foresight with E6, you must have a specific Foresight E6 Activation Code
(typically 16 digits).
This is separate from your standard FSX or E6 product keys.
FSX Live Account: You must have an active FSX Live profile, as Foresight devices require this for data verification.
The "Launcher" App: You cannot simply open E6 Connect. You must download and install the Foresight Sports E6 Launcher (also known as the E6ConnectClientSim
).
2. Software Installation & Activation
Install the Launcher: Download and install the Foresight Sports E6 Launcher
from the Foresight support site.
Bind Your License:
Log In to the Launcher: Open the E6ConnectClientSim
on your desktop.
Enter your FSX Live credentials and your 16-digit Foresight E6 Activation Code
.
3. Connecting the Device
Power On: Ensure your GC device is powered on and connected to your PC via USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi
.
Search for Device: In the Launcher menu, select Devices and then Search.
Connect: When your serial number appears, select it and click Connect.
Add Players: Select Players from the Launcher menu.
4. Launching the Game
Once your device and players are connected in the Launcher, select the Launch E6
button in the center of the screen.
This will automatically open the E6 Connect software.
In the E6 Connect main menu, go to Settings > Simulator > Tracking System. It should already show Foresight as the active system.
Troubleshooting Tips
Shots Not Registering: Ensure the E6 Connect Launcher remains open in the background. If you close the Launcher, the "data bridge" is broken even if E6 Connect is still running.
Putting Issues: If putts aren't appearing correctly, ensure you have the latest version of the Launcher (v1.2.0.1 or newer).
Older versions had a known bug with Foresight putting data.
"License Mismatch": If you get a license error, ensure you aren't trying to run the standard E6 Connect app directly. You must
launch it through the Foresight Client Sim icon.
Firewall Access: Ensure both E6Connect.exe and E6ConnectClientSim.exe are allowed through your Windows Firewall to permit local data transfer.
