  • If this is a custom built unit, you will want to check all the dimensions of your booth and tracking to confirm the system is calculating correctly. If this set up is for a technique or Vista model use your Xml as the guide line for set up.

Note: The variables listed below my not be set the same as your simulators TruTrack.xml.
(The TruTrack.xml can be found here: C:\TruGolf\E6 Golf 1.6)

<Booth_Width_Inches Value="132.000000

<Booth_Height_Inches Value=“93.000000”/>
This is the distance between the ground and the top microphone and is used as part of the acoustic triangulation. It is important to have this measurement exact for proper calculation.

<Ball_To_Screen_Inches Value=“115.000000”/>
This is the distance from the hitting screen to the row of sensors closest to the hitting screen. This is used to calculate the time of travel for the ball to hit the screen. It will affect the launch angle, ball speed and the distance of the shot.

<micInchesFromScreen Value=“34.000000”/>
The distance from each microphone to the hitting screen. All microphones should be at equal distance from the screen for a proper calculation of the shot.

<lightHeight Value=“90.000000”/>
The distance the Bottom of the overhead lamp to the ground. This sets the variable for how the system registers what club was being used and the face angle. It will also affect the timing of the shot taken.

<lightDistanceFromRow1 Value=“30.000000”/>
This is the distance that the overhead light is from the row of sensors furthest from the hitting screen. It is measured at ground level directly below the overhead light to the sensors.
