  • Make sure the serial cable is secured both to the computer as well as the control box

This is the cable that relays the information from the Trutrack to the software

  • If there is a usb to serial adapter being used make sure that the proper driver is installed. You can verify this in the device manager

1. Copy and paste "device manager in the windows search bar.

  • You should see the device under ports (COM&LPT) if not you will need to verify that windows is detecting the usb being plugged in by unplugging and re plugging the device.

Note: If windows is unable to assign a driver as a default you might see the device under “Universal Serial Bus controllers” with a yellow triangle next to it.
3. Once located you will need to right click on the device and select update driver
4. Select “ Manually Choose”
5. Pick the location that the driver folder is installed in. Refer to the manufacturer for the default if you do not know.

Trutrack 1 System

  • Double check the TruTrack has power
  • Trutrack 1 will have the light on the green circuit board.

If you are seeing the no Trutrack found error message or having trouble with shots not registering it could be due to a loose processor chip.
You will need a small pair of pliers, or channel locks, and a Phillips head screw driver.

1. Remove the TruTrack board from the floor and flip over
2. Undo the legs of the board and expose the circuit board

  • You will need the screw driver to remove the back plate also
  • On one side of the circuit board you will see the processor chip
  • It is about an inch and a half in size, black in color

3. Tap on this and press down on it

  • Because the chip is suspended upside down it can become loose due to hitting down on the mat over time

4. Reconnect the circuit board to the frame and place TruTrack back into the floor
