LOG File to help Discover Errors in E6 Connect

SYMPTOM
  • Your machine crashing unexpectedly
  • Your license is becoming unbound for no reason

The E6 CONNECT LOG files might be able to help our developers discover and fix the issues you are having.

NOTE : The LOGs themselves may not have the answers we need, but the date can be sync’d with our server data that may provide additional information.

NOTE : The Log Files are ONLY available for Windows

The LOG files are found here: C:\ProgramData\E6Golf\E6Connect\
The Files are Called:

  • E6Connect_<datetime>.log
  • E6ConnectLua_<datetime>.log
  • CrashTrace.txt

The LOG file MUST be acquired immediately after the error occurs, and BEFORE starting a new game, or the data will be lost.

  • Exit the Game
  • Retrieve the Files before starting a new game (session)

Log files are created with each “sessions” (each time you start E6 CONNECT), so there can be several in the folder.
To find the logs you are looking for, be sure to look at the date/time.

You can adjust what type of data you want in the Logs to specialize in:
SETTINGS > INFO & HELP > LOGGING SYSTEMS >

When trying to find a crash situation...Turn on ALL the Logs.

WARNING! Having the log files on all the time could effect game performance on some machines. So turn off the logging when not needed, after you recover the logs you are trying to acquire.
