How is a Golf Handicap established in E6 Connect?
There are two ways to establish a handicap in E6 Connect:
- Manually enter a handicap number when creating the player profile. (this can only be done once, and cannot be edited)
- Complete a series of 9- or 18-hole rounds until 54 holes have been played.
What are the Requirements for a Round to count toward the Handicap?
- Player must be logged in to their player profile.
- The course must have per tee Slope & Rating data.
Note: Not all courses have per tee Slope & Rating data; check the scorecard to verify.
Also, E6 Connect support only per tee ratings, not Male/Female.
- The mode of play must be Stroke Play.
- The round must be played without Mulligans or Picking Up the ball.
- Settings cannot be changed mid-round.
- The round must be completed.
How is a Golf Handicap calculated?
E6 Connect follows the guidelines of the World Handicap System, which is used by all professional golf organizations.
- Once 20 rounds have been completed, Handicap is calculated by averaging the 10 best scores.
- Going forward, the Handicap Index uses the 10 best scores of last 20 rounds completed.
How does the E6 Connect Clubhouse Handicap work?
- Clubhouse administrators can set or edit a player’s handicap by going to My Clubhouse > Members and clicking on the pencil icon next to the player’s name.
- This handicap will be displayed when the player visits the clubhouse or plays in clubhouse events.
- Currently, there will be no further calculating/updating done to players’ Clubhouse Handicaps.
