How to Change Device Name in E6 CONNECT


Symptoms:

  • You have multiple Simulators, and you want to know which computer is attached to which license
  • You want to know how to change your E6 CONNECT "Device Name*"

Background
By default, your E6 CONNECT “Device Name” is your Computer Name.
The actual Computer Name, and the E6 CONNECT “Device Name” do not have to be the same

Resolution
You can change the “Device Name” Easily

  • From the Main Menu: SETTINGS > INFO & HELP > ABOUT > CHANGE DEVICE NAME

These Changes will be reflected in your license information at: portal.e6golf.com
And can be helpful to determine what license is bound to what device.
(Use a name that makes sense to you)
